Malcolm is an actor and horse racing commentator who lives in East Yorkshire.
He was born
and grew up in Beverley, the county town of the East Riding of Yorkshire. After gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Drama and English at Huddersfield he trained at Mountview Theatre School, London.

He has appeared in several of the leading soap operas including Bruce Baines in Emmerdale, Mr. Davies in Hollyoaks and as Dot Cotton’s Solicitor in Eastenders. Other TV credits include Ron in ‘The Chase’, David Wallis in ’The Royal’, Dr. Cole in ‘The Bill’, Patrick Merrison in ‘Doctors’ and Mr. Harris in ‘Bernard’s Watch’, as well as featured roles in ‘Cold Feet’, ‘Blue Murder’, 'The Upper Hand’, ‘Heartbeat’, ‘Grange Hill’, ‘Crossroads’, ‘Byker Grove’, ‘Kiss Me Kate’, ‘Boon’ and ‘Perfect Scoundrels’.

Malcolm is one of a team of 20 horse racing commentators who cover all the racecourses in the UK. He has commentated as far north as Perth in Scotland and as far south as Goodwood in the Sussex Downs. He works on both dedicated Sky Channels At The Races and Racing UK and occasionally for Channel 4. He is also part of the BBC Radio5 Live commentary team at the Grand National Meeting.
